Position Summary
ISI-Markon JV (IMJV) is seeking two (2) full-time Construction Administrators (CM-CAs) to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the Bedford VA Medical Center. These roles provide construction administration and project oversight as part of the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrades.
This is a mission-critical onsite role that supports the VA’s project team by monitoring contractor progress, reviewing documentation, distributing contract documentation to multiple stakeholders, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contract expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clear, detailed daily and weekly reports to project leadership. Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate, timely updates to VA systems. Track the review and revision ofof submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings. Assist in processing and filing change order proposals and construction modifications. Assist in the review and processing of monthly pay applications to verify accuracy of billed work. Attend and document weekly and biweekly construction meetings, take and distribute minutes. Use construction management systems such as PlanGrid or similar tools. Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and other similar software.Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of relevant construction administration experience. Minimum 3 years of field experience performing CM/CA duties. Experience processing submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and organizing project files. Proficiency in construction management software (PlanGrid, Procore). Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (NACI). U.S. Citizenship required.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field. Prior VA, DOD, or federal healthcare construction experience. Knowledge of VA TIL Standards, QASP/QMP requirements, and EHRM infrastructure. Experience supporting commissioning, testing, and technical documentation.Physical / Work Environment
This job operates in active construction environments and professional office environments. The position requires an eight (8)-hour workday performed between 0700 (7AM) and 1700 (5PM), Monday through Friday. employees are expected to arrive between 0700 (7AM) and 0800 (8AM).
