Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will assist in the handling, filing and processing of project related documentation for various construction projects. In addition, you will support field staff, track and report equipment hours, and handle material deliveries.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the creation and tracking of submittals, RFI's, change orders, and close-out documents.
+ Prepare proposals and billing packages.
+ Obtain pricing and issue purchase orders as needed.
+ Cost code invoices.
+ Support field staff as needed.
+ Track and report equipment hours.
+ Handle material deliveries.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience working in a construction assistant role.
+ Experience with construction documentation management.
+ Experience managing asset and equipment delivery.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong administrative support skills.
+ Knowledge of construction document management.
+ Experience in equipment rental.
Work Environment
You will work in a brand new office space with a full kitchen, providing a modern and comfortable work environment. The position offers growth opportunities into project management or estimation roles. As one of the top three framing contractors in the tri-state area, we have a huge backlog of work and collaborate with major names in the industry. The work schedule is five days a week, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, in-office, working directly with the Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Project Executive. A hands-on training program is available to enhance your skills and professional development.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hightstown, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
