Job Title: Construction Accounting Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Accounting Assistant and contribute to the financial success of our projects. In this role, you'll oversee the tracking and reporting of project expenses, process invoices and billings, conduct check runs, and handle change orders and lien waivers. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be key in maintaining organized and reliable financial records.

Responsibilities

Track and monitor project costs.Process invoices and billings.Perform check runs.Manage change orders and lien waivers.Work in ledgers and perform reconciliations.Handle database work and file accounting documents.Ensure vendor compliance.Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in construction accounting.Experience in accounts payable and receivable.Strong data entry and invoice processing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger management.Experience with journal entries and implementation of accounting practices.Familiarity with Spectrum or similar construction software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS or AA degree preferred.1-3 years of construction experience.Strong MS Office and Excel skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
