**Job Title: Concrete Laborer**
Job Description
Join a dedicated team of foundation construction workers to build heavy capacity scale foundations. Your work will involve excavating foundations, grading, erecting forms and rebar, finishing concrete, and operating power tools and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with limited experience in general construction and offers the opportunity to complete all required safety courses under the guidance of a job foreman. Employees must provide their own transportation to the Fairbanks construction office and may travel with the crew in company vehicles.
Responsibilities
+ Work amongst a team to excavate and grade foundations.
+ Erect forms and rebar, and finish concrete.
+ Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
+ Complete all required safety courses as directed by the job foreman.
+ Provide transportation to the Fairbanks construction office and travel with the crew as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in construction, general labor, and installation.
+ Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools.
+ Understanding of HVAC systems.
+ Knowledge of concrete work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ General grading, debris hauling, and loading/unloading supplies.
+ Ability to change attachments on heavy equipment.
+ Familiarity with power tools such as saws, drills, and impact hammers.
+ Assistance in erecting forms, wall panels, rebar placement, snap ties, and turn buckles.
+ Basic math and measuring skills, including tape measure reading.
+ Understanding and use of Proper PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, vest, gloves).
+ Assistance in concrete placement, chute operation, raking, screeding, and vibration.
+ Assistance in concrete finishing using hand floats, edgers, and long tools.
+ Basic skills in metal work, including torching, cutting, welding, and grinding.
Work Environment
The work environment includes outdoor construction sites where safety gear such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, vests, and gloves are required. Employees will be working with various tools and equipment in a hands-on, team-focused setting.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
