Job Title: Concrete Finisher/Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher/Equipment Operator who is skilled in operating heavy machinery such as loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, and other equipment for excavating, moving, grading earth, erecting structures, and pouring concrete. The role involves preparing and cleaning areas for concrete pouring, ensuring formwork is properly placed and the base is leveled. The ideal candidate will use hand and power tools effectively to achieve the desired concrete finish, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards, while maintaining a safe work environment.

ResponsibilitiesOperate various types of heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, and pour concrete.Prepare and clean areas for concrete pouring, ensuring proper formwork is in place and the base is level.Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to achieve the desired concrete finish.Ensure finished concrete meets project specifications and quality standards.Maintain a safe work environment and clean up debris after completing tasks.Essential SkillsConcrete finishing experience.Equipment operation experience.Ability to use hand tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.Proficiency with power tools like grinders and saws.Knowledge of construction and blueprint reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in carpentry and rebar work.Familiarity with metal finishing and concrete formwork.Knowledge of paving and flatwork techniques.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
