Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher with expertise in flatwork finishing. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential projects such as driveways, sidewalks, patios, garages, and be proficient in broom and trowel finishing. Candidates with commercial flatwork experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform flatwork finishing tasks on residential projects including driveways, sidewalks, patios, and garages.Execute both broom and trowel finishing techniques.Collaborate effectively with team members in completing projects.Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in flatwork finishing.Proficiency in using finishing tools, including tool belt, hammer, tape measure, screwdriver, and finishing tools.Reliable transportation to and from work sites.Experience in concrete pours, rebar placement, and general labor tasks related to concrete work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with concrete form setting, grinding, sanding, polishing, and paving.Ability to work with landscaping and decorative concrete pieces.Possession of personal protective equipment, including safety vest and mud boots.

Work Environment

Work outdoors in residential communities focusing on driveways, patios, decks, sidewalks, and decorative pieces. The position requires working in groups with a start time of 6:30am to 7am and an end time of 4pm to 5pm. Safety attire, including a safety vest and mud boots, is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a 3 month contract position based out of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
