**Job Title: Concrete Finisher** **Job Description** Join a growing General Contractor in the Twin Cities area as a Concrete Finisher, responsible for detailed repair work on both commercial and residential projects. You will work within a small concrete team, tackling tasks from brick laying to pouring concrete footings at various job sites around the Twin Cities. **Responsibilities** + Maintain personal safety and ensure operations allow for the safety of others on the job site. + Safely operate hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, pumps, power saws, buggies, trawls, pressure washers, forklifts, skid steers, and surveying equipment. + Perform masonry work on commercial and industrial buildings. + Lay, tuck point, demo, repair, and soap masonry products. + Erect shoring and scaffolding to meet project needs. + Tool, grout, core fill, and wash masonry walls. + Form and pour strip and footings. + Lay or form and pour foundation walls. + Prepare for pouring concrete, including fine grading, placing reinforcing steel, and setting trench drains and bollards. + Pour floors with pump trucks, buggies, screeds, floats, and trowels. + Demolition of existing concrete in commercial buildings. + Patch and repair concrete surfaces in preparation for floor coverings. + Assist in foreman/lead duties when necessary, helping lead the team. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of concrete finishing experience. + Experience with block laying, sheetrock, framing, and demolition. + Proficiency in operating hand and power tools. + Skill in masonry work and concrete finishing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5+ years of block laying experience. + Reliable transportation for travel between sites. + 2+ years of leadership experience to help run the team. + Ability to determine tools and equipment needed for tasks. + Ownership of a personal set of tools. **Why Work Here?** Join a top 25 General Contractor in Minnesota with a client-focused approach, offering design-build and general construction services across commercial, industrial, and agribusiness industries.
