**Job Title: Concrete Finisher** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to enhance the quality of our construction projects by placing and finishing slabs and architectural concrete with precision. This role involves setting string lines, forms, and establishing slab grade benchmarks. You will play a vital part in developing the abilities of other crew members, managing small jobs, and delivering high-quality products to our clients. **Responsibilities** + Read plans and install forms, block outs, vapor barriers, and reinforcement as per drawings. + Supervise form setting and ensure grade, plumb, and straightness are maintained. + Verify subgrade and ensure all thickened slab footings are accounted for and in place. + Set anchor bolt templates according to shop drawings. + Layout rebar templates for all vertical bars. + Supervise the setting of grade pins and screed rails. + Manage the setup of laser screeds, confirming and checking all benchmarks. + Establish grades and set up all types of residential concrete, including stoops and patios. + Supervise the placement and tying of reinforcement. + Form residential stoops and patios. + Form, place, and finish decorative concrete. + Establish grades and slopes as per drawings, set string lines and benchmarks accordingly. + Determine appropriate cold or hot weather measures to observe. + Ensure trucks and trailers are organized, stocked with necessary supplies, and ready for deployment to job sites. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of concrete finishing experience. + Proficiency in reading plans and installing forms and reinforcement. + Ability to supervise form setting and verify subgrade. + Skill in setting string lines and establishing benchmarks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + ACI Certification is a huge plus. + Experience with hand tools and carpentry. + Knowledge of concrete, construction, and concrete finishing. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to enjoy a competitive salary with yearly reviews. Overtime may be necessary to meet project deadlines, with hours often exceeding 10 per day and 50 per week. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
