CONCESSIONS STAND LEAD

The Role:   

The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for the complete operation of assigned concession stands. Trains personnel supervises and directs the work activities of others. All Concessions Stand Leads report directly to the Concessions Supervisor of the assigned stand.

Please note: SoFi Stadium Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and a condition of employment is union membership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers. Assign duties within the standAnalyzes and resolves all problems with the assistance of Concession Supervisor and/or other managementOversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing proceduresEnsures that all workstations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked. Order replacement stock as necessaryEfficiently and accurately completes required paperworkInvestigates discrepancies in inventoryOn an event basis, ensures accuracy of location bank, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and mealsEnsures accurate transaction totals on a random basis for all stand workersKeeps a quality appearance of the concession location at all timesAt closing, works with other stand personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for next eventPerforms other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must be at least 18 years of agePrior experience as a stand attendant/worker or other food service worker is necessaryAbility to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standardsMust be able to handle a Point of Sale (POS) system in a non-cash venue and inventory efficiently and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated settingMust be able to work fluently in EnglishAbility to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditionsAbility to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/rampsAbility to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of timeMust have state and local health requirements for food handlers/ ServSafe and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificates

Compensation: $19.35ph
