Computer Vision GNC Engineer

Job Title: Computer Vision Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with expertise in embedded systems and algorithm optimization for real-time embedded applications. This role will serve as a backfill for a team member on sabbatical. The position offers flexibility for remote work with occasional visits to the office.

Responsibilities

Optimize algorithms for real-time embedded applications on edge devices.Develop and enhance algorithms for rendezvous and proximity operations.Leverage embedded computer vision experience to support project goals.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in algorithm development for computer vision and embedded systems.Experience with OpenCV.Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in computer vision (experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, military, or space is applicable).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), focusing on navigation.Experience with rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) using various types of imagery inputs.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $120.00/hr.
