Job Title: Computer Vision GNC EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with a robust expertise in embedded systems to optimize algorithms for real-time embedded applications. This role is designed to fill in for an employee taking time off. The position offers flexibility with a fully remote option, requiring onsite visits every other month, with an initial preference for local candidates. This is a direct hire position.

ResponsibilitiesOptimize algorithms for real-time embedded applications on edge devices.Develop and enhance algorithms for rendezvous and proximity operations.Apply embedded computer vision experience to various projects.Utilize computer vision tools such as OpenCV for algorithm development.Essential SkillsProficiency in algorithm development, particularly in computer vision and embedded systems.Experience with rendezvous and proximity operations.Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in computer vision, applicable in fields such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, military, or space.Familiarity with OpenCV.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), with a focus on navigation.RPO (rendezvous and proximity operations) experience, including handling various imagery inputs.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $120.00/hr.
