Compounding Technician
Job Title: Compounding TechnicianJob Description

The Manufacturing Compounder is responsible for producing bulk liquid and powder formulations by converting raw materials into finished goods. This role involves accurately weighing ingredients, operating processing equipment, and thoroughly documenting each stage of the production process.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately weigh and measure raw materials for batch production.Operate manufacturing equipment, both manually and through automated systems.Complete and maintain accurate records for all processing, weighing, and cleaning tasks.Routinely lift 50+ lbs.Clean and sanitize processing vessels, utensils, and equipment; maintain a clean and organized work area.Utilize electric pallet jack regularly.Conduct inventory checks on raw materials and finished products.Assist team members with production and cleaning tasks as needed.Use respiratory protection equipment when necessary.
Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of recent, relevant experience as a Compounder, batcher, mixer operator, or in a similar manufacturing role.Experience in GMP or FDA environments strongly preferred.Comfortable with calculations involving percentages, fractions, and decimals.Familiarity with various units of measurement (e.g., pounds vs. kilograms, liters vs. fluid ounces).
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in high-speed liquid fill is a huge plus.Experience utilizing overhead cranes is a plus.Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks.Change over, preventative maintenance, and CIP experience.

Work in a temperature-controlled, clean environment with a slightly sweet smell that is generally not overwhelming. Loading the machines with products may result in stronger scents, so please be mindful of this if you have allergies to strong smells.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
