Job Posting: Compounder (2nd Shift) Location: Dayton, NJ Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compounder to join a leading U.S. organization in the food, flavor, and fragrance industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience working with raw materials, powders, and chemical or food-grade ingredients—especially within a regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will support production by accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and processing materials while adhering to strict safety, GMP, and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities + Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using calibrated scales. + Mix raw materials in accordance with batch instructions. + Identify solids requiring melting and safely operate hot plates. + Dilute ingredients as needed and record all raw material usage. + Perform in‑process batch inspections and verify weights and contents. + Document each step of the compounding process following strict policies and SOPs. + Process materials using liquid, powder, homogenizing, and spray‑dry methods. + Accurately weigh dyes or color additives and ensure batch consistency. + Measure viscosity and collect samples for laboratory evaluation. + Follow food-safety, sanitation, and GMP standards at all times. Required Qualifications + 6 months to 1 year of experience compounding powders or raw materials. + Prior experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. + Strong adherence to safety and sanitation protocols. + Experience handling raw materials in a production or laboratory setting.
