The Compounder is responsible for weighing components used in batches and ensuring correct documentation of pre-weighs. This role involves making pre-blends for larger batches and monitoring batching to ensure thorough and correct blending. The Compounder is also tasked with completing daily scale checks and calibrations, monitoring inventory needed for batches, and notifying the supervisor or the Purchasing Department for re-orders. Additionally, the role requires completing correct pick-ticket and transfer sheets for OTC products, following all safety rules, and completing all sanitation required, including tanks, work surfaces, and equipment according to designated standards. The Compounder must also complete additional general cleaning as needed, make additions of salt to the water softener, and complete all required paperwork.

Available shifts include 2nd shift from 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift from 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM, Monday night through Friday night. Weekend shifts are also available from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday through Sunday, where employees work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. The role involves working in a regulated manufacturing environment, focusing on safety and cleanliness.
