Aerotek, on behalf of it's client are seeking composite technicians performing composite repairs on commerical aircraft. May be asked to help out with sheet metal work from time to time. Tooling is provided.
Job Description
Join a leading aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility with the technical and operational resources to hold an FAA Class 4 'Unlimited' repair station rating. As an Aircraft Composite Technician, you will ensure all work adheres to current FAA approved technical data and maintains high-quality maintenance standards in accordance with the company's Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual and other regulatory guidance materials. Your role will involve performing structural repair, replacement, and modification of airframe composite structures and other advanced composite structures, including components.
Responsibilities
Review assigned work, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete tasks in a timely manner without compromising quality or safety.Ensure all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are accurately completed and properly signed off.Verify that calibrated tools used are current and properly documented.Maintain safety by adhering to the company’s environmental health and safety policies.Perform all assigned work in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.Essential Skills
7-9 years of experience, particularly with large commercial aircraft.High School Diploma or equivalent.Attention to detail and a positive attitude.Ability to multi-task and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to work any shift.Ability to read and understand drawings and engineering data.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic hangar and ramp atmosphere with exposure to uncontrolled climate conditions. Physical requirements include lifting up to fifty (50) lbs, enduring loud noises, and performing tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, standing for prolonged periods, and climbing ladders or service stands. Be prepared to work any shift, with schedules including Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat, and shifts from 7am-4pm or 3:30pm-12am, with a differential for the latter.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
