PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier leader in the aerospace industry to find a skilled Composite Mechanic ready to make a direct impact on next-generation aircraft programs—most notably the 777X. About the Role

As a Composite Mechanic, you’ll play a critical role in fabricating, assembling, finishing, and inspecting advanced composite and metal structures used on some of the world’s most recognizable commercial aircraft. Your expertise will directly support production quality, safety, and on-time delivery for high-profile aerospace programs.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

Fabricate, assemble, form, finish, and inspect structural and non-structural composite and metal parts.

Work from engineering drawings, process specifications, quality requirements, and work instructions.

Perform composite lay-ups using optical and hard tooling.

Operate specialized equipment including impregnating, perforating, cutting, roll-form, press, curing, and testing machines.

Load, unload, and operate ovens and autoclaves for part curing.

Conduct rework, repair, and change incorporation using portable repair and bonding equipment.

Verify all work meets process, quality, and engineering specifications.

Use precision measuring tools and shop math to ensure accuracy.

Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of Total Preventive Maintenance.

Support continuous product flow by assisting and training team members.

Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years of hands-on composite experience (no junior candidates).

Prior aviation/aerospace manufacturing experience required.

Experience working on aircraft, with strong preference for 777X (also 767 and 737).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience supporting 777X production programs.

Autoclave and oven operation experience.

Background in inspection and quality verification.

Experience with composite repair and bonding processes.

Pay Details: $42.85 per hour
