**Job Title: Component Prep Operator**
**Location: Lititz, PA**
**Pay Range: Competitive**
**Shift:** 1st
Position Responsibilities:
• Perform PWB baking/marking, axial lead component preparation, and axial lead sequencing operations based upon departmental demands.
• Follow work instructions and router operations to complete necessary work.
• Enter data into company databases to read work instructions and complete operations.
• Follow proper circuit board handling procedures while moving components and boards throughout processes.
• Obtain and maintain basic certifications in IPC610 and J-STD-001.
• Responsible for self-inspection of products for any defects prior to moving product to next step.
• Communicate the status of assembly kits to Program Managers, Planners, Shipping Department and Production Supervisors
• Accurately update inventory, on-hand quantities, and kit status in IC/ERP systems
• Pick, count, and package mechanical and electronic components required for production utilizing a shop order pick list
• Participate in physical inventories of warehouse and/or stock locations.
• Maintain a clean work environment to ensure product integrity and quality
• Perform other functions, as assigned, to support the department and company goals.
Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions, data sheets, standard measurements and ERP systems
• Demonstrate flexibility in juggling work priorities throughout the day, enjoys variety in daily functions
• Customer service oriented and effective interpersonal skills
• Able to handle stress and work in a fast-changing environment
• Strong computer skills with the ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and focus
• Ability to use various tools and equipment; box cutter, heat sealer, pallet jack, forklift, scale and calipers.
• Ability to work in a team environment
