Job summary

 

As the Executive Director and the Compliance Lead for Private Equity, you will be a high-level professional responsible for establishing and overseeing the compliance program for a multi-billion dollar private equity business.  This role involves collaborating with executive management and will require a proven ability to manage large-scale compliance programs and strategic initiatives. 


Job responsibilities

Establish and oversee a scalable compliance program for private equity and adjacent businessesCollaborate with executive management, legal teams, and control partners to drive compliance enhancementsPartner with cross-functional teams to assess and implement compliance requirements for large-scale projects and strategic initiativesDrive the implementation of information barriers, conflicts of interest management, and related compliance upliftsDevelop and implement best practices across Alts Compliance and Asset Management Compliance teamsProvide expert guidance on compliance matters to senior stakeholdersAnalyze diverse information to develop recommendations and make informed decisionsCommunicate effectively across departments and with senior-level stakeholdersLead strategic initiatives to strengthen compliance frameworksEnsure ongoing improvement and adaptation of compliance programsSupport the administration of restricted lists and management of material non-public information

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Deep understanding of SEC regulations applicable to investment managementStrong working knowledge of private equity investment lifecycle and fund structuresSubject matter expertise in material non-public information determinations, information barriers, and restricted list administrationStrong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental and senior stakeholder engagementAnalytical, technical, and statistical skillsAbility to synthesize and analyze diverse information to develop actionable recommendationsProven experience managing large-scale projects and strategic initiatives with a structured approach

Experience driving artificial intelligence or technology solutionsExperience in compliance leadership within private equity or asset managementFamiliarity with global regulatory environmentsDemonstrated ability to innovate and improve compliance processesExperience working in a matrixed organization
