Financial Crimes Compliance
Financial Crime Compliance has primary responsibility for the execution of the firm’s enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering, anti-bribery, and government sanctions compliance programs and, among other things, performs enhanced due diligence and government sanctions screening, as well as surveillance and investigations designed to identify potential terrorist financing, money laundering, bribery, market abuse, or other suspicious activity.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Within the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) division, the Metrics and Reporting team is responsible for overseeing the established FCC governance model, producing centralized metrics and reporting, and monitoring productivity and performance. Professionals in this team execute critical day-to-day compliance operations, lead projects, and contribute to the ongoing advancement of our program. Meeting regulatory mandates, the team provides robust metrics, data-driven insights, and governance oversight to ensure effective risk management.

As a member of the Metrics and Reporting team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to apply advanced quantitative techniques and programming languages to analyze large datasets. You will design and develop analytical tools to visualize volumes and productivity, which will help drive business decisions. Delivering risk insights through both verbal and written communication to key stakeholders across Goldman Sachs is crucial, as is creating clear, concise, and insightful materials in support of Senior Management reporting. Your role will also involve identifying, tracking, and monitoring organization-wide risks. Ultimately, you will play a key role in Financial Crimes Compliance at Goldman Sachs by providing understanding of and insight into existing and emerging volumes and trends.
This role is ideal for collaborative individuals who can understand business needs and translate them into effective processes and tools. Responsibilities include regular reporting tasks, project support, driving process enhancements, and addressing technical challenges, including the fast turnaround of ad-hoc reports and technical end-user support.

• Proactive approach with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal), enabling effective collaboration with colleagues across regional offices and senior leadership.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning and execution to stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of operational performance metrics, reporting, and data analysis, with proficiency in visualization tools.
• Experience in leading or supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives, with a solid grasp of compliance and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to create clear and concise presentations and reports for various audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
