What this job involves:

As a Compliance Coordinator for our prestigious Rolls-Royce account in Derby, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory excellence and operational compliance within one of the UK's most sophisticated engineering environments. This position combines traditional compliance oversight with the unique requirements of supporting a world-class manufacturing and engineering facility, where you will ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance requirements specific to the aerospace and defence sectors.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Monitor and maintain compliance documentation for health and safety, environmental, and operational requirements specific to aerospace manufacturing facilitiesCoordinate with teams to ensure JLL's service delivery meets all contractual and statutory obligationsSchedule maintenance visits and liaise with JLL colleagues and Sub-ContractorsMaintain databases using Excel functionsAssist colleagues to track compliance metrics, audit results, and regulatory updatesPrepare compliance reports and presentations using PowerPoint for senior stakeholders, clearly communicating compliance status and recommended actionsSupport CAFM Maintenance Management system administration, working with Managers to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.  Responsibilities include adding new assets and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, decommissioning assets and PM schedules, and amending PM schedule dates and frequencies.Occasional attendance around the Derby campus with JLL colleagues to assist with asset capture and recordingLiaise with external auditors, inspectors, and certification bodies, managing visit schedules and ensuring all required documentation is readily availableSupport business finance activities EG – creation of PO requests and receipting invoices.Assist the wider team/colleagues with specific requests.

Required experience:

Experience in an administration role, preferably within facilities management, manufacturing, or regulated industry environmentProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience of pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions and data analysis capabilities for compliance reporting is an advantage.Able to use Microsoft PowerPointExperience of CAFM, Planned Maintenance, Building Asset’s and Capital Planning is an advantageAttention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records and identify potential compliance issues proactivelyExperience of scheduling maintenance attendance or similar is an advantageAttention to detail & thorough.Can work independently once trained with minimal supervision.Knowledge of basic business finance is an advantage. (PO creation, invoicing and receipting)Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once fully trained, demonstrating self-motivation and reliable judgment in compliance mattersConfident communication skills with ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders including senior executives, regulatory officials, and operational teamsProven ability to remain calm and maintain accuracy under pressure, particularly during audits, inspections, or urgent compliance situations
