We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Compensation Consultant Associate, you will join a national team of 100 passionate consultants who have a wealth of expertise in employee and executive rewards, employee communication, talent strategy and workforce analytics. This is a great opportunity to work with a premier client base consisting of large complex Canadian and global organizations, and be able to tap into the expertise across Mercer’s global network and work with a broad range of colleagues and industry experts.

Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, and best practices in talent managementAnalyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights that will develop into rewards and talent solutionsParticipate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendationsPrepare client presentations, including recommendations presented to boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leadersExecutive compensation benchmarking for publicly traded organizationsDeveloping a base salary and bonus program for non-executive employeesCreating role profiles and career path toolsWhat you need to have:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in management consulting, total rewards, compensation, finance, human resources or accounting preferredOR minimum 5 years of experience in project management, data analysis, financial modeling and presentation designStrong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a solid background in ExcelFlexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsIntellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skillsWhat makes you stand out?

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $75,500 to $113,500.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
