Equitable is looking for a dynamic **Compensation Business Analyst** to join our team! This position is a Hybrid work position based out of our Syracuse, NY office.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
+ This role is responsible for processing SPEN,POP FCS updates and designations as well as act as a BA for the business line they support for over 3k FPs for wealth management.
+ This role is also responsible for the processing of collective POP, and this is a functionality that needs to be maintained for our top producer groups.
+ They will also be responsible for the testing and changes related to the business line and processes that they support as well as support the GDC initiative
+ Individual will also be cross trained to support customer service line as needed during shortage and potential attrition.
_This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 2–3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration._
The base salary range for this position is $56,000 - $75,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

**What You Will Bring**
+ 2 Years experience in a Business Analyst Role
+ 2 Years experience in Compensation
+ Prior project management experience
+ 2 years Data visual experience
+ Intermediate Excel Skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Finance and Accounting experience preferred
+ Bachelors degree preferred
**Skills**
**Communicating Complex Concepts:** Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
**Cross-functional Collaboration:** Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.
**Planning and Organizing:** Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
