**Title:** Compensation and Benefits Specialist **Location:** North Chicago IL (100% Onsite) **Duration:** 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension) **Pay Range :** $33 hr to $36/hr (On W2) We are looking for a “Compensation and Benefits Specialist“ to join one of our Fortune 500 clients. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled contractor to support tactical and operational execution across our U.S. Benefits programs for a 6 to 8-month engagement. This role will play a key part in implementing our healthcare strategy, supporting open enrollment, and managing day-to-day administration and vendor relationships. **Top Skills:** + Experience in benefit coordination + Strong communication both verbal and written. + Experience in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel- Pivot table) + Experienced in US employee benefits administration and coordination. + Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. + Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. **Job Responsibilities:** + Provide operational and administrative support across employee & retiree healthcare and benefit programs + Assist with level 1 appeals handling, plan documentation, ID card coordination, and annual updates + Support Open Enrollment and health fair logistics + Manage escalations, demographic files, and vendor communications across platforms + Assist with billing, invoicing, and carrier reporting processes + Maintain internal documentation and benefit knowledge resources **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in any field + 3-5 years of experience **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
