Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Monitors eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participations and ensures compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements specializing in PA, MD, WV, VA, DE, NY, NJ state laws.Administers incentive plans accurately reporting all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial incentives for multiple plans with accounting, including quarterly focal reviews for each incentive cycle.Collaborates with senior leadership and human resources on a variety of projects, including incentive program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs, equity elections, benefits analysis, and workforce planning.Complete annual benchmarking researching industry and employment trends, tracking legislation to provide recommendations for necessary revisions to Weis Markets total reward programs.Manages position documentation, spreadsheets and progressions tables related to job codes and job descriptions.Monitor sales activity for compliance with established incentive plan guidelines and assist in preparing Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Department Managers quarterly incentives with accounting.Keeps apprised of federal, state and local benefit and compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance; assists in labor strategies.Coordinates the design and communication of annual benefit enrollment materials and Total Reward Statements.Prepares statistical analysis, data modeling and costing of base and variable compensation to ensure the total expense of compensation aligns with corporate costing structure.Conducts and participates in appropriate salary surveys, interpreting data and performing analysis.Provides analysis and support to ensure an optimal return on Inmar’s investments in human capital.Administers benefits analysis on the cost impact to the company and associates.Identifies and analyzes business problems and devises procedures and solutions to the problems.Develops, maintains and produces monthly, quarterly or annual reports, as required and provides insights into the trends.15. Uses financial acumen including performing financial and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel functionality and provides recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making.Administer benefit and compensation plans in PeopleSoft supporting testing and data validation for benefit and compensation business processes and be a subject matter expert in benefits, leave of absence, and advanced compensation modules.Drafts and coordinates internal benefits communications and educational newsletters.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Human Resources, plus a minimum of eight (8) years' related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Retail experience is preferred but not required.
