Job Summary
The Community Engagement and Mission Delivery Coordinator is a field-based recruiter and brand ambassador for Girl Scouts, responsible for outreach and lead generation in assigned communities, as well as multiple duties within a specific region. With a focus on recruiting new girls and adult members, this position enhances community visibility through school visits, local event participation, and cultivating partnerships and field trip/travel partners. Coordinators will provide volunteer communication and management, in-person and online leader meetings, service team support, and conflict management. Coordinators will be responsible for implementing assigned recruitment strategies, meeting specific lead and conversion quotas, and tracking and reporting on all engagements. Coordinators should be highly motivated to grow membership while establishing relationships with volunteers and service areas to strengthen our community visibility.
*Position will serve the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from your home office. Frequent day travel throughout the Upper Peninsula will be required.*
Job Qualifications
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1–2 years in sales, outreach, canvassing, or youth programming preferred.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong ability to set goals, manage metric-driven strategies, and achieve results.
• Excellent relationship-building, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational habits and self-motivation.
• Willingness to work in schools, outdoors, and community spaces.
• Flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend commitments.

• Commitment to the Girl Scout mission and values.
• Ability to connect and build trust with people from all backgrounds and communities.
• Strong understanding of or willingness to learn the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
• Must be (or become) a registered Girl Scout member.
• Frequent regional travel with occasional overnight requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods during events.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel regularly throughout our council.
