Community Engagement Coordinator - Central Council: Girl Scouts Of The Northwestern Great Lakes Job Location: WI - Serving Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, + Waupaca Salary Range: $50,000 (Annually) Employment Type: Full-Time (Regular) Job #: 8526 Post Date: 2/5/2026 Job Summary The Community Engagement Coordinator is a field-based recruiter and brand ambassador for Girl Scouts, responsible for outreach and lead generation in assigned communities. With a primary focus on recruiting new girl and adult members, this position builds community visibility through school visits, event participation, and partnership cultivation. Coordinators are expected to implement assigned recruitment strategies, meet specific lead and conversion quotas, and track and report on all engagements. Coordinators should be highly motivated to grow membership while establishing relationships with volunteers and service areas to strengthen our community visibility. Position serves Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, and Waupaca, WI Job Qualifications • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience. • At least 1–2 years in sales, outreach, canvassing, or youth programming preferred. • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply. • Strong ability to set goals, manage metric-driven strategies, and achieve results. • Excellent relationship-building, public speaking, and presentation skills. • Strong organizational habits and self-motivation. • Willingness to work in schools, outdoors, and community spaces. • Flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend commitments. Special Instructions • Commitment to the Girl Scout mission and values. • Ability to connect and build trust with people from all backgrounds and communities. • Strong understanding of or willingness to learn the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. • Must be (or become) a registered Girl Scout member. • Frequent regional travel with occasional overnight requirements. • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods during events. • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel regularly throughout our council.
