Community Engagement Coordinator
Description The coordinator position is responsible for contacting local agencies, community centers, churches, and VA locations to arrange for participation in onsite events for the purposes of distributing Energy Assistance information to customers. Position is responsible for staffing event tables (through the companies volunteer portal) and working the events directly. The coordinator will also distribute information via email, participate in team discussions to share ideas and track and report out on all outreach activity. Strong organizational skills are needed to be successful. Regional coverage of the role includes all counties north of US-30. Qualifications: + Previous experience in community outreach our engagement is preferred + Reliable transportation and comfortable driving as needed to sign up events (mileage reimbursement will be provided) + Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. + Must reside in northern Indiana due to geography coverage required For immediate consideration, please apply online with detailed resume. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Merrillville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
