**Job Title: Community Associate**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team as a Community Associate with a leading residential builder in Michigan, expanding into Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio markets. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction sites by conducting basic survey work across various locations, from Toledo to Grand Rapids. Your work will involve design and geotechnical tasks as part of the residential business.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct basic survey work on multiple sites, including site investigations and lot inventory reporting.
+ Identify and report faults in foundation, wall elevations, grading, and lot drainage.
+ Perform geotechnical tasks, including bad soil identification and testing.
+ Collaborate with the surveying manager, providing organized reports and insights.
+ Travel to various construction sites using a company-provided car.
+ Meet weekly at Byron Center and work from home 2-4 days a week.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience in surveying, either through education or fieldwork.
+ Ability to identify faults in soil, foundation, wall elevations, grading, and lot drainage.
+ Proficiency in identifying site nuances and organized reporting skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
+ Geotechnical experience.
+ Field experience in surveying.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of PORTAGE, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
Allen Edwin does have a profit share from 7500-10000. Allen Edwin also has a full benefits package including BCBS Medical/Dental/Vision.
**Workplace Type**
This is a hybrid position in PORTAGE,MI.
