Fairview is looking for a Community Advancement Coordinator to join our team at our Community Health & Wellness Hub in St. Paul, MN. The Community Advancement Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of community health and well-being programs including, logistics, promotion, improvement, evaluation, and growth. Works to ensure our programs meet the needs of the communities we serve, are culturally appropriate, and build trust with our partners and stakeholders. Assists with implementing new programs and attend community events to promote health education materials.
Responsibilities
Coordinates community health programs, including program logistics, promotion, implementation, and outcomesUses lean tools and standard work to improve health outcomes in all the communities we serveMaintains instructor certification of applicable community health programs; teach courses as neededAssists with preparation of grant applications and reports for community health programsWorks closely with internal and external partners and key stakeholders to implement and grow community health programsDevelops and distributes promotional, program and/or educational materials to key stakeholders, prospective participants, partner agencies, and the community at largeWorks with Community Advancement teams to pilot incubator programs that will deliver new innovative approaches to solve the largest community health needs.Provides an ultimate customer experience to allStays informed of current community health issues and trends, including evidence-based research, local and statewide needs, health disparities, and cultural competencies to contribute meaningfully to program development
Required Qualifications
A.A./A.S. in related field or combination of related equivalent education/experience (community engagement, project management, program management, health promotion, etc.)1 year community relations, public health, health promotion. Marketing and logistics management, preferably in event or program management.Experience in developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent organizational and communications skill (written and verbal) with varying levels of stakeholders, internally and externally.Experience writing communication pieces.Experience developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Experience with project coordination of complex projects/project managementReliable transportation to perform work at multiple sitesStrong computer skills and proficiency in multiple Microsoft applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, or PowerPoint.High level of organizational, multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented skills.

B.S./B.A. in related fieldExperience working with diverse communities3 years program coordination/management experienceCommunity Health WorkerMN Department of Human Services (DHS)

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
