The Position
At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For 12 weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a 24/7 commercial scale bio-production facility and contribute to the business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. The Communications & Multimedia Intern will have the opportunity to get a 'behind the scenes' look at our bio-production facility as part of a project to produce photo and video content for our internal multimedia library, which they will then use as part of a project to build our internal social media channel for employees. This intern will be tasked with helping launch our site's internal Viva Engage Channel, and help create a post-launch engagement plan. This Viva Engage channel will be used to celebrate successes, motivate our teams, and highlight the contributions of our site to the greater Novo Nordisk community. This role will require being proactive to engage with stakeholders across all departments onsite in order to coordinate employee interviews for internal content, photo shoots, and creation of video content. Prior experience editing videos is a plus.
This role will be required to enter our sterile/cleanroom areas which require wearing: hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves, and to follow GMP processes at all times. Examples of prohibited materials in cleanroom areas may include (but are not limited to): food/drink/gum, jewelery, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume/cologne, and personal cell phones.
This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility. Work schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm.
Program Start: May 26, 2026.
Program End: August 14, 2026.

Essential Functions
Using company provided equipment take photographs and videos of employees at work in our facility, to build multimedia database for our site Proactively coordinate and schedule meetings and photo/video sessions with departments across site independently with limited oversight When entering cleanroom/sterile areas must abide by all relevant policies Work with communications team to launch a dedicated Viva Engage page for West Lebanon, NH site Help draft a plan to encourage engagement and continued use of Viva Engage site by our employees Perform writing of content for internal and external company communications Use of Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of products Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes. Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Preferred to be pursuing relevant degree in field such as: Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, Mass Communications, or Graphic Design. Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. At this time, Novo Nordisk is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future would require sponsorship for employment visa status
