The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a center at MIT with affiliated professors who conduct randomized evaluations of social policies aimed at poverty reduction. J-PAL’s three core activities are research, training, and policy and communications. In addition to the Global Office at MIT, J-PAL has seven regional offices: Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, MENA, North America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
