Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation Oracle is seeking an experienced Communications Associate to develop, manage, and execute internal and external communication strategies, particularly social media, with an added focus on external standards alignment and community engagement. This role will be responsible for outreach to industry standards bodies and technology communities, enhancing Oracle’s presence and reputation in these spaces. This role will play a key part in elevating our brand, ensuring message consistency, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, media, and the broader market. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for compelling storytelling.
This team is targeting candidates in the U.S. who can work ONSITE in Nashville-TN (priority location). This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive communication initiatives and campaigns aligned with Oracle’s strategic objectives. Build and nurture relationships with relevant technical communities, user groups, and industry alliances to strengthen Oracle’s position as a key industry contributor. Draft, review, and publish internal newsletters, executive messages, and blog posts. Support executive communications, including speechwriting, presentations, and media briefings. Liaise with key internal teams (Development, Government Affairs, Marketing, PR, Legal) to ensure message consistency and alignment. Coordinate communications and social media efforts, including proactive outreach and response to inquiries. Monitor and analyze communications metrics (such as engagement, reach, brand sentiment) and report on effectiveness. Manage and ensure compliance with corporate communication policies and brand guidelines. Prepare and coach spokespeople for interviews and public speaking engagements. Assist in communications planning and rapid-response messaging.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 3 years of proven experience in corporate communications, PR, or related roles—preferably in the technology sector. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of developing effective content for diverse audiences. Experience managing projects/campaigns with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. Familiarity with digital communication platforms (intranet, social media, collaboration tools). Strong analytical skills; ability to assess metrics and adapt strategies accordingly. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and good judgment.Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of cloud technology and enterprise software. Experience with technical communities. Experience navigating a matrixed, global organization. AP Style writing/editing experience, and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.
