We are seeking a detail-orientated Intern to support the Communications Data & Insights Analyst by collecting, maintaining and analysing communication performance data across internal platforms and channels.
The role focuses on transforming data into clear, reliable insights that help the Communications team understand what’s working, optimise campaigns, and improve employee engagement. This includes supporting reporting, dashboards and post‑communication analysis to ensure data‑driven decision‑making across the communications function.
This is an ideal role for a candidate who enjoys working with data and is keen to build foundational skills in analytics within a communications environment, while gaining practical exposure to internal communications platforms and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications performance reporting & data management: Support the collection, validation and maintenance of communications performance data, reports and dashboards across internal platforms (including Yoobic).
Post‑communication analysis & insights: Assist with analysing campaigns and key communications initiatives, identifying trends and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
Reporting standards & documentation: Help maintain consistent reporting templates, dashboards and documentation to ensure data accuracy, clarity and repeatability.
Qualifications and Experience:
Recently completed a qualification in Communications, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to change
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advantageous:
Exposure to dashboards, reporting tools or analytics platforms.
Previous academic or practical experience analysing or presenting data.
