Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodity Manager to support satellite volume manufacturing operations. This role involves parts procurement, supplier management, and collaboration in a high-volume manufacturing environment, specifically within aerospace and precision manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
+ Procure parts to support satellite volume manufacturing operations.
+ Manage supplier and supply chain relationships.
+ Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
+ Utilize continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes.
+ Construct and understand basic supply agreements, ensuring compliance with key contracting provisions and requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
+ At least 4 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or a sourcing environment.
+ At least 4 years of direct experience in supplier/supply chain management.
+ Global supply chain experience with cross-functional team management.
+ Knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Working knowledge of Precision Manufacturing processes, technologies, and key suppliers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master’s degree is preferred.
+ Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with global team members.
+ Extensive negotiation experience with global suppliers, with a proven track record in cost reduction.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Innovative approach to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, and quality assurance.
+ Strong analytical skills, including cost modeling, quotation analysis, and supplier selection.
+ Knowledge of Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Redmond, WA, where you will be part of a collaborative and innovative team working in a high-paced environment. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
