Commodities - Structure Financing Origination - Executive Director

Job Summary:
As an Executive Director within the Commodity Sales team in Dubai, you will lead client interactions and drive the execution of commodity structured financing trades. As a senior member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and enhancing our client offerings.

Job responsibilities: 

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs. Originate transactions and oversee the execution process from A to Z, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies.  Analyse market trends and drivers to identify new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with market conditions and client needs. Partner with trading, research, corporate and investment banking and risk management teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Facilitate effective communication between departments to enhance client service Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, market knowledge, and interpersonal skills, including:

Significant experience in commodities sales (ideally 10+ years) with a focus on structured financing, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving sales targets Ability to analyse complex market data and trends to inform strategic decisions and client recommendations Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset; proven ability to work effectively within a team and mentor junior colleagues A deep understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver exceptional service that builds loyalty and trust Advanced proficiency in analytical tools, and deep knowledge of credit risk related metrics Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
