We are seeking an experienced and driven Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning activities for high-performance data centre projects. This role is critical to ensuring that all systems—mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety—are tested, validated, and transitioned into full operational readiness. You’ll be the linchpin between design, construction, and operations, ensuring seamless delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.Job Description
About the Role:
Develop and manage the overall commissioning strategy, schedule, and execution plan for data centre projects.Lead commissioning activities across all disciplines (MEP, CSA, IT systems), ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, vendors, and client teams to ensure readiness for commissioning phases.Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final handover.Review and approve commissioning documentation including test scripts, procedures, and reports.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.About You:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).8+ years of experience in commissioning, with at least 3 years in data centre or mission-critical environments.Strong understanding of MEP systems, building automation, and integrated testing protocols.Familiarity with commissioning standards (ASHRAE, BCA, LEED, etc.) and QA/QC procedures.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and commissioning software.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
