A DAY IN THE LIFE

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities for data center projectsDevelop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation from design through turnoverCoordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors to align commissioning scope and expectationsLead commissioning meetings with the teamOversee functional performance testing of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safetyReview design documents and submittals for operational readinessTrack and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and punch list itemsEnsure integrated systems testing is executed safely and successfullySupport training of owner’s operations staff and development of O&M documentationVerify systems meet uptime, redundancy, and performance requirementsManage a smooth transition from construction to operations
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in building commissioning or mission-critical constructionHands-on experience commissioning data centersStrong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsExperience with integrated systems testing and turnover processesAbility to manage multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environmentsWillingness to travel or be site-based as requiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Construction Management, or related field
