Job Title: Traveling Lighting Solar Foreman

Job Description

Foremen will not only help ensure projects are completed on‐time, in the safest possible manner, and are delivered with the highest quality, but also are a leader and role model to a team of Lighting Technicians. As a Foreman, you provide direction and training to Technicians which directly influences the end result of a project. You not only help make business facilities more efficient and less costly, but also improve the safety, health and comfort for those using them. 

Our Foreman contributions to the team include:

Promote and role model safe practices following all Centrica Business Solutions and OSHA guidelines and actively participate in and complete regular safety training. Assist with proper training of Lighting Technicians on all Centrica Business Solutions policies, procedures and practices, along with National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines. Accurately assemble and install lamps, ballasts and other lighting components within various fixture types and follow all National Electrical Code guidelines. Ensure that the jobsite is maintained to the highest standards to include: cleaned, prepared and all possible hazards eliminated. Provide a top-notch customer experience that leaves a lasting impression; always interact in a professional and respectful manner and go above and beyond expectations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on‐time.

Essential Skills

High School diploma.At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or construction management role.At least 5 years of experience in commercial electrical, lighting retrofit, or related fields.Experience with safety planning and administration.Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime.Active Driver’s License.Willingness to travel regionally for 1-6 weeks at a time, up to 75% travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Electrical Trade school or technical training (highly preferred).OSHA 10 certification.Experience with energy conservation lighting projects.Mechanical experience and/or aptitude.

Work Environment

This position requires engagement in the construction process at customer job sites, where conditions can vary widely. You may be exposed to extreme temperatures, wet, loud, or dusty conditions for short durations. Awareness of hazardous situations is essential, especially in specific sites like steel mills or chemical plants. Administrative responsibilities require limited off-site work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
