Job Title: Commercial Roofer - $$25-40/HR BASED ON EXPERIENCE!!

Job Description

As a Commercial Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofs (BUR), and metal roofing. Your role will involve inspecting problematic roofs to determine the most effective repair procedures, operating various tools and equipment safely, and ensuring all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems.Inspect roofs to determine repair procedures.Operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.Identify and communicate project needs and repairs to supervisors.Maintain a clean and organized job site.Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.Train and guide apprentice roofers as necessary.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3-5 years of commercial roofing experience at journeyman-level competency.Proficiency with various commercial roofing systems and installation techniques.Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and OSHA regulations.Capability of lifting 50-75 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.Reliable transportation and consistent work ethic.2+ years' experience in commercial roofing.Willingness to travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

4+ years' experience in commercial construction is ideal.Experience in carpentry, general labor, and handling heavy equipment.Proficiency with scissor lifts, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.

Work Environment

Work involves exposure to sun, heat, cold, wind, and rain. Tasks include navigating large flat roofs or occasionally steep and complex structures. Safety harnesses and fall protection are required when working at heights.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
