Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Analyst – Real Estate Banking Program

As an Analyst in the Real Estate Banking (REB) program, you will gain valuable experience in Commercial Real Estate and a broad understanding of Commercial Banking. REB delivers commercial real estate and banking products to national and regional real estate developers, investors, Real Estate Operating Companies (REOCs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and opportunity and investment funds, working alongside REB Bankers, Underwriters, and Treasury Services Payments partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform financial modeling and risk grading to support transactionsAnalyze collateral and marketsPrepare marketing materials for client meetings (covering topics such as financing alternatives and industry/market trends & analysis)Analyze sponsorship and guarantor informationAssist in the completion of credit approval memos and annual reviewsSummarize key deal metrics and facts for new loan letters of intentSupport sales teams with ad-hoc requests, property inspections, and market researchMonitor and manage portfoliosLearn about treasury services tailored to commercial real estate and the end-to-end sales process using a variety of internal sales toolsDevelop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offeringsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

1+ years of relevant experience post-college graduation; experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field is a plusCompleted BA/BS degree (Business, Finance & Accounting preferred; all majors considered)Some exposure to credit fundamentals and/or previous client exposure is a plusKnowledge of market dynamics and business environment preferredCoursework or previous internship in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics is a plus
