Caterpillar’s Rental and Used division is hiring for **Commercial Planning Manager** for Dallas, TX. **Role Summary:** In this role you will manage the Global Rental & Used price planning and commercial initiatives for BCP, Earthmoving, Excavation, Load and Haul, and Paving products as well as programs targeting used equipment sales and targeted rebuilds for dealer owned rental fleets. This role encompasses preparing materials, and lead discussions for business case discussions, monthly business reviews (MBR), and contributes to demand and velocity reviews for CI products going into dealer owned rental fleets **What You’ll Do (Job Duties)** + **Own** – Lead the global Commercial planning process as the subject matter expert + **Manage** – Manage, Monitor and administer global used commercial programs + **Control** – collaborate and provide management insights on commercial run rates + **Improve** – improve rental business cases processes to maintain/improve success rates + **Drive –** drive high level region accountability and provide system support for programs and strategic initiatives + **Coordinate** - Be the liaison between product groups, global machine pricing and field teams + **Consolidate** – maintain a high level of interaction with sales reporting, supply teams and retail stakeholders **What You Have (Core Skills)** + **Data Gathering & Analysis:** Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment. + **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + **Negotiating:** Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner. + **Strategic Thinking:** Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. + **Value Selling:** Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs. **Top Candidates Will Also Have** + Pricing and commercial processes + Relevant knowledge of supply processes and how it drives financial deliverables + Industry field experience in Retail or Rental industries **Additional Details** + Work location: Dallas,TX (preferred). Cary NC and Peoria,IL can also be envisioned. + Domestic relocation assistance is available for this role + Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this role. + Travel: 20% + This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F) **Summary Pay Range:** $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
