We are seeking a skilled Commercial Painter with experience in brush and roll techniques to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at preparing and painting various surfaces in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality finishes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform painting using brush and roll techniques, including cutting in at the top of walls without using tape.Prepare surfaces by covering floors and moving furniture out of the way.Use rollers on extendable poles to cover large areas of drywall or concrete.Patch drywall and sand any imperfections to ensure walls are properly prepped.Maintain a neat and tidy workspace, ensuring all surfaces are protected during the painting process.
Essential SkillsPrior experience painting in commercial or residential settings.Proficient with brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trim work.Consistent work history in painting and surface preparation.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with paint prep, finish work, and using spray guns.Skills in caulking and construction painting.

Work Environment
Projects are primarily located around the Rochester area, typically within a 40-mile radius of our headquarters. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The majority of projects involve commercial settings, such as new constructions and remodels of office buildings and business parks. Our team currently consists of around 20 painters working on various projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
