Job Title: Commercial Facilities Technician

Job Description

As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for traveling daily between various sites, primarily childcare facilities focused on autism support, to perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring these facilities are maintained to a high standard.

ResponsibilitiesPerform minor plumbing maintenance tasks such as unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks in drains and faucets, and replacing toilets and faucet fixtures as needed.Conduct routine painting and carpentry work to maintain the facilities in like-new condition, including repairing holes in drywall, prepping areas, and matching paint for a uniform appearance.Carry out minor electrical maintenance within state law requirements, including repairing or replacing fixtures, wall switches, and outlets, as well as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and sockets.Essential SkillsExperience in facilities maintenance and building maintenance.Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques.Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.Ability to perform carpentry and flooring repairs.Strong customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in computer skills for managing work orders.Experience with boilers, chillers, and compressors.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work orders are dispatched from home and managed via tablets, allowing you to work individually within a 45-mile radius, from Castle Rock to Thornton. The position offers flexible start and end times predominantly during the day shift, with occasional afternoon shifts. Embrace a dynamic work environment with the freedom to operate independently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
