The Opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Analyst to join our Roche Service Solution (RSS) team in Costa Rica, supporting Genentech’s US-based Channel & Contract Management division. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of contract operations for various US customers, including healthcare providers, payers, and government accounts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, proficiency in navigating complex systems and processes, exceptional communication skills, and a focus on speed, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve customer issues and communicate contract details effectively.

Handle customer requests and inquiries with urgency, demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach.

Manage and maintain accurate contract information in systems, ensuring precision and attention to detail.

Research and validate customer data to confirm program eligibility.

Calculate, validate, and process customer payments accurately and efficiently.

Support training efforts on contracting procedures, tools, and systems.

Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in commercial functions such as operations, contracting, or customer experience, with strong communication and issue resolution skills.

Advanced Business English proficiency (C1 level or higher) and excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, customer-focused environments with tight deadlines, ensuring speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving, collaboration, time management skills, and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to quickly master complex systems and processes.

Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, AI tools, CRM solutions (e.g., Salesforce), and similar tools to support operational tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer facing and sales team facing roles with companies in healthcare, technology, manufacturing or related industry.

Knowledge of CRM, revenue management systems and reporting tools that support contract operations.

Project management experience and familiarity with project management techniques.

3+ years of experience in commercial functions (e.g., operations, contracting, strategy implementation, customer experience) with demonstrated strengths in communication and issue resolution. 

Strong numerical and analytical proficiency (e.g., expertise in using gSheets, Excel; data analysis).

Familiarity with US healthcare contracting and collaborating with  remote US-based stakeholders.

Proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
