The job  

Commercial Enablement is a vital function in the Commercial Organisation supporting sales and success teams in increasing deal conversion by delivery critical sales and commercial content that improves buyer engagements, drives organizational alignment, increases sales pipeline acceleration, supports renewal rates, increases customer adoption and improves the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the global salesforce and global success teams. Working with key partners across the company, such as Marketing, Portfolio and Product and Sales, the Commercial Content team own the strategy and execution of sales specific content, content structure, governance and excellence. The Commercial Content team manages the entire Commercial content lifecycle from creation to archival and provide actionable insights on content performance to continuously improve Commercial effectiveness. The Commercial Content Manager leads with curiosity and trust to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.

 

Key responsibilities 

Act as an integrating role between various Commercial and marketing areas, including Commercial operations, Commercial development, product/industry marketing, content marketing, field marketing, success management and HR.Conduct data-driven analyses of Commercial content performance in conjunction with Commercial Leaders, Operations, Success Management, Marketing and Portfolio/Business Units to drive the delivery of fit-for-purpose content, content ROI, and best-in-class user experience.Takes ownership of the requirements for commercial content on behalf of the field teams and ensures a consistent structure is in place, a standard bill of materials and an intuitive content experience are available for the Commercial organisation.Supports content owners and subject matter experts as a key partner to drive development of standard commercial assets, ensuring consistency in content, design, application and structure delivering a consistent, high value experience for commercial colleagues and end customers.Owns, maintains and drives adoption of the Commercial enablement platform creating a single location for all Commercial content and collateral, and tie into the Commercial process making it a key Commercial enabler.Regularly spend time in the field with managers and reps to understand the “field reality” and build Commercial enablement deliverables to meet their needs.Successful deployment and ongoing management of core Commercial content management, governance, and effectiveness management across all CommercialEnd to end management and adoption of content and content experience in the Commercial enablement platform, Highspot.Successful PMO management of the Commercial enablement programmes to improved pipeline generation, pipeline execution, success/adoption execution or general commercial development.

 

Essential requirements 

Strong understanding and execution experience in Commercial enablement and known for driving Commercial pipeline via enablement and support.Strong understanding and execution experience in content management to support customer interactions, competency development and driving commercial pipeline development. Able to effectively derive insights from data analytics to drive performance.Strong experience with Highspot or other similar Commercial enablement tools.Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way.Strong creative thinking and innovation by tying together cross-functional teams to deliver for company.Adopt practices and procedures closer to relevant industry best practices, where possible and where consistent with other business priorities.Ability to build consensus and manage diverse, group-wide stakeholders through influence.Excellent Stakeholder Management and Impact at all levels.Strong execution focus and ability to manage ambiguity.  Delivery focus with a clear ability/track record in translating requirements into deliverables.

 

Desired skills 

Experience in industrial software or similarly technical area Experience in Salesforce and PowerBI

Hybrid working
