Job Description

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to perform tasks including:

Wood and metal stud framingAcoustic ceiling installationDrywall backingInstallation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware (locks, closers, panic devices)

Candidates should be able to read blueprints and accurately lay out framing systems.

ResponsibilitiesPerform wood and metal stud framingInstall acoustic ceilings and drywall backingRead and interpret blueprints for accurate layoutInstall commercial doors, frames, and hardwareOperate hand and power tools safely and efficientlyFollow all construction safety standardsWork independently and collaborativelyMaintain high attention to detailQualificationsMinimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experienceProficiency with hand and power toolsStrong understanding of construction safety practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprintsWork EnvironmentCommercial job sites across ChicagolandShifts typically run 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, depending on locationRequired attire: hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and work boots

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
