**Job Title: Commercial Carpenter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform tasks such as wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints and accurately laying out framing systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform wood and metal stud framing.
+ Install acoustic ceilings.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate framing layout.
+ Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware including locks, closers, and panic devices.
+ Use hand and power tools proficiently.
+ Adhere to construction safety standards.
+ Work independently or as part of a team.
+ Pay close attention to detail.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Understanding of construction safety standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
+ Experience with boom lift and scissor lift operations.
+ First Aid and CPR certifications.

**Work Environment**
Candidates will work in commercial environments with shifts from 6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm, depending on the job site. Appropriate attire includes hard hats, high visibility clothing, and work boots.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Aurora, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
