Job Title: Commercial Carpenter

Position Overview

We’re looking for a talented Commercial Carpenter with a strong expertise in metal stud framing and commercial construction. You’ll collaborate closely with a foreman and fellow carpenters on a variety of fit-out and new build projects.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprintsPerform selective hand demolitionExecute rough and finish wood carpentry, including millworkHang drywall and handle taping, spackling, and finishingInstall metal stud framing and acoustical ceiling tiles (ACT)Fit acoustical ceilings, doors, frames, and related hardwareOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyKeep the job site clean and well-organized

Core Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial carpentrySkilled in metal stud framing and drywall installationAcoustical ceiling installation expertise

Preferred Skills

Strong grasp of framing techniquesComfortable using a wide range of construction toolsTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate on-site

Work Environment & Schedule

Work hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Dress code: High-vis gear, jeans, hard hat, and safety boots

Project types: Primarily fit-outs with occasional new construction

Team setup: Small groups with 1–2 carpenters and a foreman

Culture: Friendly, respectful, and cooperative

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
