The Venture Capital Relationship Team (VCRT) is a key component of the firm's overall Innovation Economy (IE) business, covering venture capital firms and partners in early and growth stage companies. As a Commercial Banker on the VCRT team, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates and analysts that support both team initiatives/strategy and the coverage effort of our senior relationship executives.
The Venture Capital Relationship Team (VCRT) at J.P. Morgan supports the Global Banking team’s pursuit to be the #1 bank supporting the venture-backed ecosystem. The team supports both the Commercial Banking and Investing Banking businesses by helping position J.P. Morgan for everything from seed-stage banking to venture debt for growing companies to exits for late-stage companies, including IPOs and M&A. While our clients are ultimately venture capital firms themselves, we seek advocacy from them as it relates to their portfolio company banking and financing needs. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated and experienced and possess a strong interest in venture capital, technology, and healthcare; demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and partnership; and exhibit exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
The Venture Capital Relationship Team (VCRT) is part of J.P. Morgan’s Commercial Bank within the Commercial & Specialized Industries group. In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the world’s most innovative companies. We work both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients.
