Job Overview This Citi Commercial Bank Associate role is is to support the Venture Capital strategy and Venture Capital Coverage Bankers within the US Commercial Bank at Citi. The Associate role is part of the Citi Commercial Bank program which receives a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in any of the following:Responsibilities:Company Research and Industry AnalysisAnalyzing Financial Data and Financial ModelingCollaborating with PartnersProject CoordinationAssess and mitigate risks in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and upholding ethical conduct, and transparently escalating and reporting control issues.Prospecting SupportDevelopment of Presentations and Reports to support strategy
Qualifications:
2 years' work experience credit or commercial banking experienceStrong background in Business developmentUnderstanding of Venture Capital sectorRelationship & Pipeline management experienceFINRA licensing SIE, 63 and 79 required or due within 150 days of hireExperience with Salesforce, Pitchbook, FactSet a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledgeBachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience------------------------------------------------------
